Hope it’s cooler where you are, in the 90′s here for several days, average summer temps are in the 80′s here in Saratoga…unusual for us…sizzling in the south, bad flooding in Kansas and Texas.

The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route is the world's premier off-pavement route, crisscrossing the Continental Divide. This route is defined by the word "remote." Its remoteness equates with spectacular terrain and scenery. The entire route is basically dirt-road and mountain-pass riding every day. In total, it is 2700 miles long and has over 200,000 feet of elevation gain. All of this climbing gets the rider into visually spectacular places and incredibly fit shape. The route was designed by Adventure Cycling and sees fewer than 30 "through-bikers" each year.
